Hi! I’m Robert Mims and I’m a devoted college football fan living in California. Growing up in Kentucky, the team I support is no doubt the Kentucky Wildcats. Their rivals, the Louisville Cardinals and the Memphis Tigers, make for great teams as well, but as a loyalist, I think the Wildcats remain the best. Every time I watch a game, I get more and more interested in university rivalries and I find it a lot more captivating when MVPs steal the show.

There may be MVPs in a season, but they won’t be able to bring their A-game without the effort of their teammates; teamwork truly is the foundation of this sport. While I spend most of my time rooting for the Wildcats, I find time to exercise and hit the fairways, as golfing is one of my passions.

I’ve always appreciated the way football unites people from different walks of life. It’s easy to gather fans to help and donate for a cause when the sport allows them to. I believe college football has the ability to arrest apathy and replace it with sympathy and genuine care.
