Football Players Who Could Make The Rounds In Amateur Golf

It’s not uncommon to find athletes who are good at more than two sports, especially when the sports complement each other. However, it is quite rare to find athletes who can be equally as great in two sports.

For today, we’ll take a break from college football and check some NFL stars who have a decent enough golf game to make an impact in amateur golf.

Tom Brady: Golf Digest lists Brady as its 8th greatest athlete golfer. This five-time Super Bowl winner regularly plays at the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am and is famous for being quite the golfer.

Peyton Manning: One of the best QBs in NFL history, Manning is another football player with a mean swing. He has a 4.0 handicap, which is impressive and has the distinction of being one of Tiger Woods’ pro-am partners. Now that he is retired from pro football, he has all the time to hone his golf skills further.

Aaron Rodgers: A two-time NFL MVP, Rodgers has a 5.5 handicap as per Golf Digest’s rankings, which isn’t bad at all. This Green Bay Packer QB has always been a force on the field, and now, looks to dominate of the fairways, too.

Hi, Robert Mims here. I’m a huge fan of college football, particularly the Kentucky Wildcats and Memphis Tigers rivalry. For similar reads, visit this blog.
